Blazewing Conflux Rituals #
We facilitate eight rituals a year at Blazewing Eyrie, honoring the flows our our lives and tracking the big swings of the Pacific Northwest sun:
- Glowtide, where we keep the spark of the sun alive through the longest night.
- Kindled Fire, where we seek guidance out of the depths of winter.
- Evenlight, where we blossom in the swiftly-changing seasons.
- Fire's Gift, where we give thanks and build energy for the summer to come.
- Blazetide, where we delight in our community for the whole longest day.
- Fire's Need, where we think about what is expected of us to keep each other strong.
- Evendark, where we honor the passing of the bright half of the year.
- Fading Fire, where we reflect on and feast with our anncestors as we head into the dark.
Our rituals are informal, grounded in the Wanderers and in local animism. Respectful attendees are always welcome, regardless of specific beliefs. Rituals usually involve storytelling, seasonal reflection, food offerings to spirits and attendees, and toasting (alcoholic and non-alcoholic libations available). They also sometimes include chanting or crafts.
Our rituals offer small speaking parts for any attendees interested in getting more involved.
